What is FaucetBox?

What is FaucetBox?

FaucetBOX.com is a middleman between you and faucets you use. That allows you to collect coins from faucets you use (unless they use FaucetBOX.com) to a single place and payout them in bulk. With FaucetBOX you can:

  • reach payout limit faster
  • reduce clutter in your wallet
  • omit transaction fees
  • control when you want to payout by setting your own payout threshold on address check page

Where can I check my accumulated coins?

Just visit their Address checker page and provide your cyptocurrency address. You’ll see all statistics of your address there, including:

  • accumulated coins, average income and estimated days left before reaching your threshold
  • transaction history with all payouts from FaucetBOX to your wallet
  • history of visited faucets and collected coins

Do I need to sign up?

You don’t need to do anything to start using FaucetBOX.com as faucets user. If you would like to collect coins from faucets check out their Faucets List and visit some faucets. While claiming coins from faucets provide your cryptocurrency address. If we don’t have your address in their database we’ll create it during your first claim. After that you can jump to their Address Checker page to see how many coins you have collected and when your payout threshold will be reached.

Sign up form is only for people who have their own faucet or would like to create a new one. FaucetBOX is not a wallet provider, so do not register just to collect coins from faucets!

I can’t find my address

You need to have your own crypotucurrency address to use FaucetBOX. FaucetBOX is not a wallet provider. If you just would like to collect coins from faucets do not register! Just use your existing cryptocurrency address. Sign up form is only for people who have their own faucet or would like to create a new one.

How can I withdraw my coins?

If you reach the threshold set on your address check page, your coins will be withdrawn automatically. Withdrawals are made at least once a day, so you should get them in less than 48 htheirs. You can see recent transactions sent to you on address check page. If you didn’t receive your coins in 48h after reaching the threshold, please contact their support team.

How can I migrate from Microwallet.org?

Unfortunately it’s not possible to transfer your coins collected on Microwallet.org account to FaucetBOX.com. We’re not affiliated with Microwallet.org and only they can withdraw your coins. However if you start from scratch on FaucetBOX.com, you can reach their payout limit even in 1 day!

What is a “payout threshold”?

Payout threshold is a minimal amount of coins which you need to collect in order to recieve your collected coins into your address.

Most cryptocurrencies (including Bitcoin) consider transactions with outputs lower than some established value to be non-standard (and thus they won’t be processed). You can read about Bitcoin case at Github.

It also allows us to reduce fees sent to the network to minimum. Fees are proportionate to a transaction size. When a normal, typical Bitcoin transaction is sent, all inputs that the address in use received must be sent. The more inputs there are, the bigger the transaction gets and the network fee gets bigger. This is exactly what FaucetBOX prevents – we delay payouts and accumulate more coins, so we (and faucet owners) pay a lower transaction fee when sending out coins to you, faucet users. The aforementioned fee does not affect your (faucet users) payouts, it affects only services that send coins to you (in this case – FaucetBOX will cover network fees).

What does “referral payout” mean?

Referral payouts are faucet payouts that were marked in a way that lets users know, that such faucet has an independent referral system and makes payouts if you refer other uses to it. To FaucetBOX they are like any other payout and are added to normal payouts when checking whether you reached your payout limit.

What does “Lock your threshold” button do?

Some people in aim to harm their users changed their payout threshold to huge numbers. Without signing a special message, we can’t tell if the person changing the threshold is the address’ owner or not. Now, when you’ll sign a message, we’ll know you own the address for sure and let you lock the threshold. To sign a message, search for such function in options of your wallet.

If you need a tutorial for signing a message, here is how it’s done in most popular clients/wallets:

I didn’t receive my payment!

Follow these steps before contacting us:

  1. Open their address check page and type your address
  2. Scroll to the Transactions history
  3. If you see a recent transaction, click it:
    • If it says Transaction not found, wait a few htheirs. It takes some time for a transaction to propagate. If it stays like that for more than 6 htheirs, contact us with a code: 6HTM
    • If you see the transaction, check if it’s confirmed (does it have more than 0 confirmations?). If it doesn’t get confirmed for more than 6 htheirs, contact us with a code: 6HUC
    • If you see the transaction and it’s confirmed, check if your address is on the list. If it’s missing, contact us with code: AMIT
    • If you see the transaction, it’s confirmed and you see your address, then coins were sent to you. If you don’t see them in your wallet, then your wallet is broken, out of sync or is a scam (in case of web wallets). Do not contact us in that case, we can’t help you. Contact your web wallet administrator or read how to use desktop wallets.
      • Instant-e.com is a scam, they’re stealing coins. You can read about it here.
      • If you see “not yet redeemed” next to your address, that only means that coins are on your address and you didn’t spend them yet.
  4. If you don’t see any recent transactions, wait at least 48 htheirs, it takes us some time to process payments
  5. If you don’t get transaction even after 48 htheirs, contact us with code: 48NP
  6. If nothing applies, contact us with code: NFAP. Don’t forget to describe your problem carefully.

If you decide to contact us, please don’t forget to include appropriate code in the Subject and your cryptocurrency address in the Message.

How can I change my address?

It’s not possible to transfer funds from one address to other inside FaucetBOX. You can use new address (just provide it on faucets while claiming coins from faucets) but all coins collected on your old address can be paid out only to that old address.

Faucet Owners

What’s it all about?

If you want to start a faucet (a site giving coins away for free or half free), you will encounter a problem with minimal payout limits in Bitcoin (and other currencies). In short, you wouldn’t be able to pay out to your users as often as you would like, and it would cost you many coins (much more than their fees). So FaucetBOX.com is here to help you with that :). With FaucetBOX.com:

  • your users can get a payout faster
  • you can use their API, so you don’t have to run a full Bitcoind (or other currency) node – you can use cheaper web servers!

We’re taking a fee from every deposit. So if you deposit 0.01 BTC to your FaucetBOX account, your balance will show (if the fee is 3%) 0.0097 BTC.

We need this to cover network fees, which are required by protocol to send out the transactions

Check out current fees

If you want to be advertised for free, fill in your URL and description on your faucet’s manage page in Dashboard. your faucet will be listed on their Faucets List as soon as it gets approved (we need to check whether your description contains spam).

Minimum deposits

You have to deposit at least such amount of coins for your transaction to be credited:

Check out current minimum deposits

If you deposit less than that, your deposit will be lost. Even if you send another deposit, so that both have more then the required minimum, they’ll still be ignored. Each deposit has to be above the minimum to be credited!

Referral program

FaucetBOX does not have any referral program neither for faucet owners nor faucet users. Some faucets may have their own referral program, but FaucetBOX is not familiar with them in any way. Please contact owner of faucets for any questions related to their referral programs.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

When you enable Multi-factor authentication in Security tab in your Dashboard, we ask you to provide special one-time token every time you you whould like to: login to your Dashboard, see API keys on your faucets, withdraw your funds or change settings of your account. So far we support two MFA methods:

  • E-mail – we send you token to your e-mail address
  • Google Authenticator (or compatible TOTP) – you need to install a special app on your phone which displays a 6-digits token
  • Signing message – we’ll show you a message which you need to sign using your bitcoin address’ private key. How can I do that?
